HOW IT WORKS
When you request an appointment, we will work with you to find a convenient day and time for the visit. We do our very best to stay on schedule, but we kindly request that you allow for a 15 minute arrival window to accomodate any unforseen traffic or other unpredictable delays.

Dr. Garro will begin the appointment by reviewing your pet’s medical history and focusing on any concerns that you may have. This also is a time for your pet to become comfortable with our presence.

Dr. Garro is happy to work with her patients wherever is most comfortable for them and convenient for you. This might be the sofa, a pet bed, on the floor, or on a table or counter.

Most pets are relaxed during the visit, but others may be more anxious or fearful. We will always go slowly and use a gentle touch. For more skittish cats, we ask that you confine to a small bathroom a few minutes prior to our arrival to help keep them at ease.

Dr. Garro and her technician practice low stress handling techniques with patients to keep them as calm and relaxed as possible during the visit.

After Dr. Garro finishes up with your pet, she will allow as much time as needed to discuss her exam findings,  review any treatment plans, and answer any questions you may have.

PAYMENT Payment is due at the time of the visit. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, debit cards, checks, cash, and Zelle.

CANCELLATIONS If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations less than 24 hours before your appointment are subject to a cancellation fee equal to your housecall fee.
